If you come to Sanitas and had comprehensive health insurance with another company in Spain for at least 1 year, you will not be subject to waiting periods in your new policy, except in the case of childbirth. ACCEDE: Your first health insurance for just €22.10(2)
Sanitas Accede is the insurance policy with in-person medical care (primary care and specialities, with no limit) and all the advantages of digital medicine. Access to more than 58,000 doctors, 4,500 health centres across Spain, and 5 hospitals. You can choose the centre that best suits your needs for a face-to-face appointment, or have an online appointment with your usual doctor wherever you are.
*New contracts for the Más Salud, Más Salud Familias, Profesionales, Más 90.000, Premium 500.000 and Sanitas Residents product ranges, with an effective date between 1 November 2026 and 1 February 2027 and registered from 15 October 2026 onwards, will enjoy, at no cost, the co-payment rate of My Farmagen for new policyholders (people who have not held a Sanitas policy in the previous 6 months). Activation must be completed within 2 months of the policy's effective date; otherwise, the co-payment structure in force at the time of activation will be applied.
